As the owner of House Clearance Fife, I’ve always believed that this business is about more than just taking away unwanted items. For me, it’s about helping people through all kinds of situations — whether that’s clearing a family home after a bereavement, preparing a property for sale, or simply giving someone the chance to enjoy a fresh start in a clutter-free space.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with families across Fife, from Dunfermline to Kirkcaldy, Glenrothes to the coastal towns of the East Neuk. Every job is different, and I make it a point to treat each home with the same respect I would want for my own. That means handling sentimental items with care, making sure we recycle and donate wherever possible, and being upfront and transparent about costs.

What I’m most proud of is the trust our customers place in us. Many of our bookings come from word of mouth, and I think that says a lot about the way we work. People know they can rely on us to turn up when we say we will, to do the job properly, and to leave their property safe, clean, and ready for its next use.
